On March 23, 2016 at 1700hrs, Driver/Engineer Marco Davila, 45, fell ill while exercising at his residence several hours after coming off of his shift at the fire department and within 24 hours of responding to an emergency response incident. Driver/Operator Davila succumbed at the hospital several hours later from a nature and cause of fatal injury still to be determined.
Our condolences to the Davila Family & Friends, Dallas Fire-Rescue Department, and to all affected by Driver/Engineer Marco Davila’s passing.
