Approximately 13 fire departments and over 100 firefighters responded to 899 Tilbury Rd Campville in Tioga County, New York for a massive 21 acre wildfire on Sunday, April 13,2014 at 12:30 PM.
Town of Owego Supervisor Donald Castellucci declared a state of emergency--advising the public to avoid the area.
"I hereby direct all town departments to take whatever steps necessary to protect the life, property, public infrastructure and any other such emergency assistance as deemed necessary," Castellucci wrote.
The wildfire was under control around 6:00 p.m., according to the Campville Fire Department.

There is no known cause of the fire yet. An investigation is underway by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Forrest Rangers.
