NYS Assistant Fire Chief On-Duty Death












 The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official on-duty death of Assistant Chief Timothy J. Lamere, 47, of the Constable Volunteer Firemen, Inc..

Assistant Chief Lamere collapsed at home following department training. Firefighters from Constable Fire Department and EMTs from Northern Ambulance transported Assistant Chief Lamere to Alice Hyde Medical Center where he later died from a cause still to be determined.

Our condolences to the  Lamere Family & Friends, the Constable Volunteer Firemen, Inc., and to all affected by Assistant Chief Timothy J. Lamere's passing.
