USFA LODD: Maryland Firefighter On-Duty Death Notification 01.05.2020

On Saturday, December 28, 2019, Assistant Engineer Otis L. Isaacs, Jr., 73, was fixing a break on a fire engine and was on stand-by for two responses.  While on stand-by, he assisted with a function the fire department was having that evening by setting up tables and chairs.  He returned to the station the next morning, Sunday, December 29, 2019, to work on another fire department vehicle.  When he returned home late that morning, at approximately 1130hrs., he suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away.

Our condolences to the Isaacs Family & Friends, North East Fire Company, and to all affected by Assistant Engineer Otis L. Isaacs, Jr.‘s passing.
