USFA LODD: New York Firefighter On-Duty Death Notification 11.20.2019

On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at approximately 1900hrs., Fire Chief Darryl Rollins, 42, responded to a possible residential fire.  He returned home and was found unresponsive early the next morning.  He was immediately taken to the hospital where he passed away from a cardiac arrest.

Our condolences to the Rollins Family & Friends, North Amityville Volunteer Fire Company, and to all affected by Fire Chief Darryl Rollins‘ passing.
