USFA LODD: Ohio Firefighter On-Duty Death Notification 11.15.2018

While responding to an emergency medical call, Firefighter Daniel Lucius, 33, was involved in an accident when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a pond. Emergency responders quickly responded to the accident scene and were able to pull FirefightLucius from the submerged vehicle. Firefighter Daniel J. Lucius was transported to Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, Ohio, where he was pronounced deceased from the injuries sustained.

  

Our condolences to the Lucius Family & Friends, Carroll Township Fire and EMS, and to all affected by Firefighter Daniel Lucius’ passing.
