USFA LODD: Ohio Firefighter On-Duty Death Notification 12.19.2016

On  December 19, 2016 at 1659hrs, Firefighter Ruben E. Mast, 43, was responding to an alarm in his privately owned Ford F-250 pickup truck when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a guardrail before overturning. Firefighter Mast was reported to have been ejected from the vehicle. He was transported by Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department and Smith Ambulance to Union Hospital in Dover, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
    

Our condolences to the Mast Family & Friends, Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department, and to all affected by Firefighter Ruben E. Mast’s passing.
