Firefighter Leslie "Les" W. Fryman, 58, January 14, 2015 at 1230hrs, was a passenger in a tanker/tender responding to a mutual aid structure fire when he went unresponsive. Fellow responders treated Firefighter Fryman and transported him to a local hospital. Firefighter Fryman was subsequently transferred to another hospital where he succumbed to his injury seven days later January 21, 2015. The nature and cause of fatal injury is still to be officially reported.
Leslie "Les" W. Fryman is survived by his wife, Phyllis; a daughter, Alyssa Silva (special friend, Sergio Perez); a grandson, Ismael and a granddaughter, Eva; his father, Robert (Eileen) Fryman of Wabeno; his siblings: Earl (Linda) Fryman of Oakfield, Keith (Teresa) Fryman of Elkhorn, Phillip (Kathy) Fryman of Appleton, Brian (Linda) Fryman of Menasha, Robin Fryman of Neenah, and Bardine (Jeremy) Henning of Campbellsport. He is further survived by a special aunt, Doris Fryman; five sisters-in-law: Linda (Mike) Schaalma of Oshkosh, Jan (Bill) Soyk of Eden, Joan Howard of Buford, Georgia, Karen Fryman of Fond du Lac, and Kim (Dan) Arthurs of Fond du Lac; three brothers-in-law: Doug (Linda) Hodorff of Eden, Dwight Hodorff of Glenbeulah, and Jon (Wendy) Hodorff of Taylorsville, Georgia; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Leslie "Les" W. Fryman was preceded in death by his mother, stepfather, Donald Grahl, a grandson, Alonso; and his mother and father-in-law, Harold and Jo Hodorff.
