Multiple Emergency Services
Agencies responded to 513 Barton Rd in Apalachin, New York for a fully involved
structure fire. The Tioga County 911 Center received the call at approximately
3:43 P.M..
Heavy black smoke & flames were observed by responding emergency crews responding to the fire ground from Route 17. Barton Road in Apalachin was closed down during firefighting operation near Muth Park.
New York State Police
confirmed that everyone had egress from the home, but could not provide any
further comment.
Apalachin, Owego, South
Side, Campville, and Nichol Fire Departments were among those on the scene, as
well as EMS, Tioga County Fire Investigation, and Multiple other departments from
Broome County.
There is no report of
any injuries that may have be sustained at this time.
