USFA LODD: New York Firefighter On-Duty Death Notification 10.19.2019

On October 19, 2019, Firefighter Robert Bush fell, 49, ill during fire department training. Other firefighter department members immediately provided medical assistance to Firefighter Bush and then transported him to a local hospital. Despite revival efforts, Firefighter Bush passed away at the hospital. The nature and cause of fatal injury are still to be determined.

Our condolences to the Bush Family & Friends, Homer Fire Department, and to all affected by Firefighter Robert Bush‘s passing.
