USFA LODD: New Mexico Firefighter On-Duty Death Notification 07.21.2019

On June 5, 2019, the City of Roswell Fire Department was preparing for the community July 4th fireworks show.  Driver/Operator Jeff Stroble, 46, was assisting with this preparation when an explosion occurred, injuring him.  Driver/Operator Stroble was immediately taken to the hospital but passed away on July 21, 2019, from the injuries he sustained in the explosion.

Our condolences to the Stroble Family & Friends, City of Roswell Fire Department, and to all affected by Driver/Operator Jeff Stroble’s passing.
