USFA LODD: Mississippi Firefighter On-Duty Death Notification 12.23.2018

On December 23, 2018, While working his third call of the day, a vehicle fire, Fire Chief Robert Dunaway, 72, suffered a medical emergency and was found unresponsive. Attempts to revive Chied Dunaway on scene were not successful. Fire Chief Robert Dunaway was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

  

Our condolences to the Dunaway Family & Friends, Howell Volunteer Fire Department, and to all affected by Fire Chief Robert Dunaway’s passing.
