USFA LODD: Texas Firefighter On-Duty Death Notification 06.26.2018

On June 25, 2018 Fire Cadet Devon Coney, 34, was performing physical fitness activities at the Austin Fire Department Training Academy when he suffered a medical emergency.  He was taken to Saint David's South Austin Medical Center where he passed away a short time later on June 26, 2018.  The nature and cause of the medical emergency has yet to be determined.

Our condolences to the Coney Family & Friends, Austin Fire Department, and to all affected by Fire Cadet Devon Coney’s passing.
