USFA LODD: Florida Firefighter On-Duty Death Notification 07.14.2016

On July 14, 2016, several hours after getting off of his duty shift which included several emergency response calls, Firefighter Joesph T.  DeMarinis, 32, checked himself into the hospital where he passed away from a reported cardiac event.

Our condolences to the DeMarinis Family & Friends, Clermont Fire Departmen, and to all affected by Firefighter Joesph T.  DeMarinis’s passing.   

To date, 43 firefighter fatalities have been reported to USFA in 2016. Year-to-date monthly and annual USFA firefighter fatality reports are posted online at U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) Fatality Notices page.
