On at 0453hrs, Firefighter Christi Rodgers ,26, after her pager went off for a response call to a residential structure fire, became ill at her residence and according to media reports went into cardiac arrest. Firefighter Rodgers was then transported to the hospital where she passed away. The fire incident remains under investigation by local and state authorities.
