Mississippi Fire Chief On-Duty Death














Fire Chief Nolan "Goat" Pittman, 45, of the Centreville Volunteer Fire Department, Mississippi, on March 5, 2012, fell ill while at the scene of a residential structure fire. Chief Pittman went to the hospital and was ambulatory as he walked into the emergency room, but his condition worsened and he passed away a short time later from a cause still to be determined.

Our condolences to the Pittman Family & Friends, the Centreville Volunteer Fire Department, and to all affected by the Fire Chief Nolan "Goat" Pittman's passing.
